The University of Ibadan (UI) has published its admission roster for the 2026/2027 academic session.

All applicants who took part in the 2026/2027 Admission Screening Exercise are reminded that they may now verify whether their names appear on the provisional list of successful candidates.

The roster of selected candidates is now accessible online through the JAMB CAPS portal. Candidates should follow the steps below to confirm their status:

• Visit https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/ and log in using the email address and password registered with JAMB.
• Click on “Check Admission Status”.
• Select “Access my CAPS”.
• Choose “Admission Status” to view whether an offer has been made.

If an offer has been granted, the system will display the applicant’s photograph together with a congratulatory message. If no offer has been issued yet, the screen will show the text “Sorry No Admission has been Given Yet”.

Applicants who receive an admission offer may either accept or decline it by sending an SMS containing the word ACCEPT or REJECT to 55019 or 66019 from the phone number linked to their JAMB profile.

The acceptance window spans four weeks from the date of the offer. Candidates whose registered phone numbers are unavailable must visit a JAMB‑accredited centre to submit their acceptance or rejection.

It is essential for those who accept the offer to print the admission letter, as it will be required during the clearance and registration processes at the university.
