Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK) Senate, acting through the Directorate of Academic Planning, has issued the sanctioned revised academic calendar covering the remainder of the 2025/2026 session.

The new schedule details major academic events, exam windows, semester holidays, and additional significant dates as classes resume.

KEY ACADEMIC SCHEDULE AND MILESTONES

SEPTEMBER 2026

• Monday, 21st September: Resumption of Second Semester lectures after the industrial action.
• Monday, 28th September – Saturday, 3rd October: Administration and submission of Continuous Assessments for all students.

OCTOBER 2026

• Thursday, 1st October: National Day observed as a public holiday.
• Saturday, 17th October: Conclusion of Second Semester lectures and start of the revision period.
• Monday, 19th October: Launch of Second Semester examinations for the entire student body.

NOVEMBER 2026

• Saturday, 14th November: End of Second Semester examination period.
• Monday, 16th November: Beginning of the Second Semester break.
• Monday, 16th November: Initiation of the Third Semester (First Segment).
• Sunday, 29th November: Completion of the SIWES programme for the 2025/2026 academic year.

DECEMBER 2026

• Saturday, 12th December: Closure of the Third Semester (First Segment).
• Saturday, 12th December: Finalisation of marking, result computation, and review by the Senate Committee on Results.
• Thursday, 17th December: Special Senate session to consider and approve Second Semester results.
• Friday, 18th December: University shuts down for the end‑of‑year break.

JANUARY 2027

• Monday, 4th January: Return of staff and students from the year‑end recess.
• Monday, 4th January: Commencement of the Third Semester (Second Segment).
• Saturday, 30th January: End of the Third Semester (Second Segment).
