The Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH), Osara, has announced an adjustment to the resumption dates for fresh and returning students for the 2026/2027 academic session.

In a circular dated September 25, 2026, signed by the Registrar and Secretary to Council, Mrs. Glory Ojochogu Yakubu, the university explained that the change was caused by unexpected technical glitches and logistical challenges, and is intended to ensure smooth administrative preparation for the upcoming session.

Under the revised schedule, new entrants – both 100 Level and Direct Entry – will now commence classes on Monday, October 12, 2026, replacing the previously set date of September 28, 2026.

Similarly, students continuing from 200 Level and above will resume on Monday, October 19, 2026, which represents a three‑week extension from the original start date.

The institution also extended the regular registration deadline and introduced a late‑registration window:

• Regular registration deadline: Friday, November 13, 2026
• Late registration period: Saturday, November 14 – Monday, November 23, 2026
• Late registration fee: ₦10,000

Fresh students are advised to begin screening, submit physical documentation, and complete online course registration immediately upon their return to campus.

Returning students may settle tuition fees and register for courses through the online portal before physically reporting to the university.

The university indicated that the Academic Planning Unit will issue a supplementary academic calendar that includes the new matriculation ceremony date and an updated academic workload.

Management expressed regret for any inconvenience the adjustment may cause and wished all students safe journeys back to campus.
