The Students’ Representative Council (SRC‑FUGUS) announces to every Department, Faculty and recognized Student Association that the sanctioned membership fee remains fixed at ₦500 (Five Hundred Naira) for each authorized student group.

To eliminate any confusion, only those Departments, Faculties and Student Associations that are officially recognised and authorized may collect this fee from their members.

No unapproved organization, club, collective or individual is allowed to carry out such collections.

In addition, any authorized entity must not add extra charges or request amounts exceeding the stipulated ₦500 under the pretext of the approved fee.

All relevant parties are therefore instructed to follow the established arrangement closely, guaranteeing transparency, accountability and proper conduct throughout the collection process.

Any breach of this instruction will be dealt with through the appropriate administrative procedures.
