All staff and students are hereby notified that the Complete Manual Hostel Allocation Method, which the University of Abuja management had previously sanctioned for the 2026/2027 academic session to curb hostel racketeering, is being re‑examined because of current exigencies.

For this session, the University will implement a Hybrid Hostel Allocation Method that combines manual procedures with electronic booking.

Nonetheless, students in their penultimate year—particularly those enrolled in IT programs—as previously approved by university management, will not be eligible for hostel accommodation during this session.

Accordingly, every student must secure hostel space via the University Online Porter. No one should appear in person at the Office of the Dean, Students Affairs Division for allocation purposes.

Students who successfully complete an online booking are required to present a printed copy at the Office of the Dean, Students Affairs Division to receive their assigned bed.
