Federal University Gashua: Academic Session Resumption…

The Federal University Gashua (FUG) in Yobe State has disclosed the start of academic activities for the 2026/2027 session.

An internal memorandum from the Office of the Registrar, dated 21 October 2026, indicates that the Vice‑Chancellor has sanctioned Monday 16 November 2026 as the opening day for academic programmes.

The university also published the timetable for registration and the commencement of lectures for both returning and freshly admitted students.

Schedule for Returning Students

  • Registration starts: Monday, 16 November 2026.
  • Lectures start: Monday, 23 November 2026.

Schedule for Newly Admitted Students

  • Registration starts: Monday, 7 December 2026.
  • Lectures start: Monday, 7 December 2026.

The memorandum, signed by Registrar Dr. Abubakar Mamuda, urges all faculty and learners to note the confirmed dates and adhere to them.
