JAMB UTME TO COMMENCE 2016/2017 SALES OF FORM AUGUST 31 - SEE PROCEDURES AND DEADLINES.

JAMB is excluding business centres from registering 2015 JAMB. All the exam will be Computer Based Test, (CBT). Candidates will register at the center where they will write the exam.

JAMB, has said its application forms for the 2015 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME, is now available nationwide for prospective candidates, reaffirming that the examination will be on Computer-Based Test (mode) only.

According to the JAMB Spokesman, the Board has also introduced a regulated registration format where only our Computer-Based Test, CBT, centers and state offices nationwide are authorised to register candidates. He said the registration period will last between Monday September 15, 2014 and Thursday January 15, 2015, while the website closes Monday January 19, 2015.

Mr. Benjamin stated that in addition to the registration fee, candidates will be expected to pay additional N500 for a copy of a newly introduced textbook, The Last Days at Forcados High School, adding that the Board has made arrangement to provide the book to avoid the challenge of availability and piracy and that the textbooks will be issued at the point of registration.

So there you have it! Jamb 2015/2016 Form will be on sale starting from 15th September, 2014! If you are seeking for admission into any higher tertiary institution in Nigeria, then you need to start reading or jacking your book!

why is the registration taking place only in jamb offices?
would it not be too stressful for someone to get registered only at jamb offices?

That's true @Hashimlawandi but the question is, "is JAMB fully prepared for this". A very clear implication is that 1-1.5 million people will access 'a' server almost at the same time as scheduled over the space of about a month. Let's keep our fingers cross though and hope for the best.

We share similar school of thought. Where does a cyber cafe owner want to get 3 million naira and a minimum of 400 laptops in his cafe?
What JAMB is doing is a very huge step but it's approach seem to be rigid and unfavorable.
Let hope JAMB will get to realize this soon enough.

why is jamb excluding business center? cos, what they only do is to register candidate they dont conduct the exams,serious offenses like exam malpractice should be pointed at the universities and centers that conduct the exams.registering the candidate is different from conducting the exam, jamb in the past has helped a lot of unemployed young nigerians to make a leaving from just doing registration of candidates,bravo to jamb for that,but now with this new method of registration jamb is only favouring the already rich nigerians by giving them access code for huge money which the unemployed onces cant afford. my question to jamb now is? , is jamb all about making money or making sure only credible candidates enter our nations institution.
