This thread is for candidates who scored 200 and above in the 2015 Unified tertiary Matriculation Examination. The purpose of this thread is to guide you on the next step you are to take. Obviously, with your score, it seems more like your admission is at the corner. However, there are few things you should know at this point as to ensure you finally win in your quest to secure admission this year. First, Scoring 200 is not all there is to it, It is true that no institution can stop you from participating in their post-UTME but you should equally know that courses like medicine or Law that are very competitive in most schools need a candidate to have a score well above 200. What you ought to do now is to verify the cut off mark in your choice institution for your course. That way you will know if you stand a chance and will inform if you need a switch by changing your course or institution to a less competitive one relative to your score. Secondly, Do not let your UTME score get into your head, there is one more major hurdle, THE POST-UTME. Don't "divorce" your books yet, this is time to get strongly "married" to them. From experience we have noticed that most institutions usually repeat their post-UTME questions. That means that studying with post-UTME past questions and answers would be of great help. Finally, have you gotten your JAMB Original Result Slip , It is the only officially recognized JAMB Result. This will be required during your Post-UTME. Do well to get it now (we'll bring you more information on that soon). Once you've taken all the steps above, you only have to wait for your school's post-UTME.
