University Of Tasmania Under Graduate / Post Graduate Scholarships (TIS) In Australia

University of Tasmania (UTAS) is offering Tasmanian International Scholarships (TIS) for international students. These scholarships are available to undertake undergraduate and postgraduate coursework degrees offered by the University.
Scholarships are offered to different departments across the University, all offering a diverse range of courses. Tasmanian International Scholarship (TIS) provides commencing international students with a 25% reduction in registered tuition fees for the duration of their course (provided satisfactory grades are maintained).
Eligibility:
Australian Maritime College Tasmanian International Scholarship:
Available to all commencing international students who submit an application to study one of the eligible programs offered by the AMC. Applicants can view a list of AMC courses which are eligible for TIS.
Access, Participation and Partnerships Tasmanian International Scholarship: Available to all commencing international students who submit an application to study the Foundation Studies Program leading to an undergraduate degree at the University of Tasmania.
Faculty of Arts Tasmanian International Scholarship: Available to all commencing international students who submit an application to study one of the eligible programs offered by the Faculty of Arts.
Tasmanian School of Business & Economics International Scholarship: Available to all commencing international students who submit an application to study one of the eligible programs offered by the Tasmanian School of Business & Economics.
Faculty of Law Tasmanian International Scholarship: Available to all commencing international students who submit an application to study one of the eligible programs offered by the Faculty of Law.
Faculty of Science, Engineering, and Technology Tasmanian International Scholarship:Available to all commencing international students who submit an application to study one of the eligible programs offered by the Faculty of Science, Engineering & Technology.
- Generally applicants will require the equivalent of an overall B+ average (with the exception of some courses), to be eligible for TIS. Please note: As qualifications and grading scales can vary significantly from country to country, eligibility will be assessed by an Admissions Officer.
- If applicant’s previous study has not been in an English speaking environment, they are required to demonstrate their ability by showing the results of an approved test.
How to Apply:
As students are assessed automatically upon submission of their International Student Online Application, there is no need to apply separately, nor do recipients need to apply for ongoing eligibility.
