Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED) is pleased to announce that its 9th Convocation ceremony for the conferment of Honorary Degree, Award of Bachelor’s Degree, Postgraduate Diploma in Education, Higher Degree and Presentation of Prizes, will take place between Thursday, 23^rd and Tuesday, 28^th November, 2017. Graduands and the general public are kindly requested to take note of the following programmes:

1. Day: Thurs 23^rd Nov. 2017
   Event: VC Football Finals
   Description: Football matches betweenmale and female studentsof the University.
   Goal: Uniting all with sport in the spirit of Ceremony
   Facilitating Unit: Sport Council
   Venue:  University Football Field
   Time: 4:00pm
2. Day: Friday 24th Nov. 2017
   Event: Cultural Day/Exhibition
   Description:  A cultural celebration,wearing of native attire by all members of the University Community to adorn the celebration.Exhibitions shall also be featured in the day
   Goal: Give cultural face to the ceremony, to inspire togetherness through uniformity, showcase material products and other items of commercial value in the University
   Facilitating Unit: Vice Chancellor’s office, CENVOS, Creative Arts, Home Economics and Technical Education.
   Venue: Vice-Chancellor’s Quadrangle

3. Day: Friday 24th Nov. 2017
   Event: Jumat Service
   Description:  A Jumat session at University Central Mosque
   Goal: Commit the event to God’s hand
   Facilitating Unit: Muslim Community
   Venue: Central Mosque

   Event: Convocation play
   Venue: TETFUND 2012

   Event: Interdenominational Service
   Description: A church service to mark the Anniversary
   Goal: Appreciating God for the success of the Ceremony
   Facilitating Unit: Christian Community
   Venue: University Christian Community

6. Day: Monday 27th Nov. 2017
   Event: Convocation Lecture
   Description:  By a distinguished personality. The personality is expected to draw much attention to the University. The influence of the personality in the polity is significant
   Goal: Topic issue. Make major education news headline Project the core values of the varsity to the globe
   Facilitating Unit: Vice-Chancellor & Deputy Vice-Chancellor

   Time: 12.00 noon
7. Day: Monday 27th Nov. 2017
   Event: Formal Opening of Exhibition
   Description: Showcasing the University through it’s Entrepreneurship and other products.
   Goal: To let the community see the university’s entrepreneurship and other products first hand.
   Facilitating Unit: Vice Chancellor’s Office, CENVOS, IVOTRA and Ventures
   Time: 2.00pm – 4.00pm
8. Day: Monday 27th Nov. 2017
   Event: Convocation Lecture/Alumni Cocktail Party
   Description: Cocktail party in honour of the Guest Convocation Lecturer and for the Alumni
   Goal: To appreciate the Guest Lecturer and his team and for the Alumni Executives to adopt fresh graduate into TASUED Alumni
   Facilitating Unit: Vice-Chancellor & Deputy Vice-Chancellor
   Venue: Zenith Quadrangle & Texas Chicken

9. Day: Tuesday 28th Nov. 2017
   Event: Commissioning of Project/Convocation/Ceremony/Exhibition
   Description: Annual University Convocation Ceremony and, Exhibition shall also feature
   Goal: Conferment of University’s Degrees and Diplomas
   Facilitating Unit: Vice-Chancellor  & Deputy Vice Chancellor
   Venue: University Auditorium
