Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso is hereby notifying all candidates who selected LAUTECH as their first-choice institution in the 2025/2026 UTME or Direct Entry (DE) application that the admission portal will be open for online registration from Friday, 25th July 2025 to Wednesday, 20th August 2025.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

1. UTME Candidates must have obtained a minimum score of 170 in the 2025/2026 UTME to be eligible for the screening exercise. DOWNLOAD CUT-OFF MARK HERE

2. Candidates must upload their O’ Level results to the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) by 20th August 2025.

3. Candidates must be at least 16 years of age by 30th September 2025 to qualify for admission.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

1. UTME Candidates should have a minimum of five (5) credit passes in relevant O’ Level subjects at no more than two sittings in WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB.

2. Direct Entry (DE) Candidates must possess at least:

   • Second Class Lower degree for university graduates,

   • Upper Credit for ND holders,

   • Merit for NCE holders,

   • Lower Credit for HND holders, or

   • JUPEB qualification, along with five (5) credit passes in relevant O’ Level subjects.

3. Applicants for Medicine, Nursing, and Medical Laboratory Science must have five (5) relevant credit passes at one sitting only.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

1. Visit the University Admission Portal: http://apply.lautech.edu.ng

2. Pay a non-refundable registration fee of N2,000.00 and a portal access fee of N3,000.00 via an Inter Switch-enabled debit card.

3. Complete and submit the online application form carefully.

4. Upload a clear digital passport photograph with a white background in JPEG format, not exceeding 20KB.

5. Review the available programs, O’ Level requirements, and UTME subject combinations on the JAMB CAPS and LAUTECH portal before applying.

ADDITIONAL NOTES

1. Candidates awaiting results (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB) may apply but must upload their results to JAMB CAPS by 20th August 2025.

2. Inconsistent details (e.g., names, state of origin, age) on documents may result in disqualification.

3. Admission will be based on 80% UTME score and 20% O’ Level grades.

4. Admission offered on JAMB CAPS that is not accepted within 3 weeks of uploading will be forfeited.

DIRECT ENTRY (DE) CANDIDATES

• DE candidates must obtain a Direct Entry form from JAMB and send their academic transcripts to the following address not later than one (1) week before the screening date:

  • Ogbomoso, Oyo State

• The Oral and Written Interviews for Direct Entry candidates will be conducted on Monday, 25th August and Tuesday, 26th August, 2025 at The Hall, LAUTECH Campus, Ogbomoso. Failure to attend the interview will result in the automatic forfeiture of admission.

WARNING

Candidates providing false information will have their admission withdrawn and may face legal consequences. Candidates should also beware of fraudsters, as LAUTECH will not be responsible for transactions with unauthorized individuals.
