Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Awka is now inviting candidates who selected the university as their first-choice institution in the 2025/2026 UTME and Direct Entry (DE) to begin registration for the Post-UTME Screening exercise. The registration process is scheduled to start on Monday, 28th July 2025 and will close at 12:00 midnight on Saturday, 16th August 2025.
UTME Candidates: Those who scored 150 and above in the 2025/2026 UTME and selected UNIZIK as their first choice are eligible for the screening.
Direct Entry Candidates: Must have a relevant OND/HND/First Degree or A'Level in the appropriate field and should have chosen UNIZIK as their first-choice institution.
Change of Institution: Candidates who didn’t choose UNIZIK as their first choice but meet the eligibility criteria may apply by changing their institution to UNIZIK via the JAMB CBT Centre before the end of the registration period.
UTME Candidates with a cut-off mark of 200 are eligible for courses like Law, Medicine, Medical Laboratory Science, and Nursing.
UTME Candidates with a cut-off mark of 180 can apply for Engineering, Social Sciences, and Physical Sciences.
UTME Candidates with a cut-off mark of 160 are eligible for programmes in Agriculture, Education, and Arts.
UTME Candidates with a cut-off mark of 150 can apply for courses in affiliated institutions.
Visit the Application Portal: Go to http://apply.unizik.edu.ng.
Create an Account: Validate your JAMB Registration Number and provide necessary information like your LGA, UTME subject combination, email address, phone number, and date of birth.
Complete Profile: After submitting, verify your account through the code sent to your email, then proceed to sign in.
Add O'Level Results: After logging in, add your O’Level results on the portal.
Make Payment: Pay the N2,000 fee using a debit card or bank payment and upload your payment details.
Submit the Application: After making the payment, click on the submit button to complete your registration and receive an email confirmation.
Change of Course: If candidates choose the wrong UTME subject combination, they must go to the JAMB CBT centre to change their course before they can register for the Post-UTME.
Direct Entry Candidates must ensure their academic transcripts and all required documents are forwarded to UNIZIK before the deadline.
O’Level Results: Candidates must ensure their O’Level results are uploaded to JAMB CAPS before the application deadline.
Screening details will be sent to candidates via email and phone. Candidates are encouraged to prepare using the official UNIZIK Post-UTME Past Questions and Answers.
Non-registered candidates will not be considered for the screening exercise.
Uploading results on JAMB CAPS is a prerequisite for consideration for admission.
Avoid Fraudulent Activities: Admissions are not for sale, and the university will not be liable for any fraudulent payments made outside the official registration process.
Wrong Information: Any candidate found providing false information will be disqualified and face legal actions.
The deadline for submitting applications is Saturday, 16th August 2025.
