Please Note: Nigerian tertiary institutions don’t make use of any outside agent and will not make use of any in the 2024/2025 admission exercise. Aspirants are thereby advised to stay clear from such in processing their applications. Applications should be processed directly, following each guideline and instructions issued by the institution

This notice is to inform all candidates who have applied for admission into the Federal University Lokoja (FUL) for the 2025/2026 Academic Session, and have either chosen FUL as their first choice or are willing to change their institution to make FUL their first choice, that the Post-UTME Screening Portal will open from Monday, July 28, 2025, and will close on Friday, August 29, 2025.

Eligibility for the Screening Exercise:

To participate in the screening, the following conditions must be met:

  • UTME Candidates: Must have achieved a minimum score of 160 in the 2025 UTME.

  • Direct Entry Candidates: Must have applied through JAMB.

Online Screening Exercise – Post-UTME Point-Based System (PBS):

Due to ongoing economic and security challenges, the university has decided to conduct the 2025/2026 admission screening through an Online Point-Based System (PBS). This approach will allow all candidates, both UTME and DE, to complete the screening process by logging into the FUL Post-UTME Screening Portal.

Follow these steps carefully to ensure your screening is processed correctly:

  1. Upload Your O'Level Results:
Before accessing the university’s Post-UTME portal, ensure your O’Level results are uploaded to the JAMB portal. If your results are still pending, you may begin registration but cannot proceed until your results are uploaded.

Important: If a candidate uploads falsified O’Level results, their admission will be revoked, and they will be liable for legal consequences, regardless of when discovered.

  2. Personal Email:
You must have a valid personal email address to complete the registration process.

  3. Begin the Screening Process:
Visit the FUL website at www.fulokoja.edu.ng. Under the Admissions section, click on Post-UTME Portal, then log in with your valid 2025 JAMB Registration Number to confirm your eligibility.

Step-by-Step Registration Process:

a) Biodata Page:
Once your eligibility is confirmed, proceed to update your personal information. DE applicants must also provide their prior academic records.

b) Payment Page:
Generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) payment invoice for N2,000.00 (Post-UTME Screening Charges) using REMITA services. Pay via an ATM card or at the bank.

c) Screening Page:

  • Select your preferred programme from the available courses.

  • Choose the five O’Level subjects that align with your chosen programme.

  • Upload your O’Level results for verification purposes.

  • Once the upload is successful, your Post-UTME Screening result will be displayed.

Eligibility for Admission:

To qualify for admission, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  1. Only applicants who chose FUL as their first choice and participated in the Post-UTME Screening exercise will be considered for admission in the 2025/2026 academic session.

  2. O’Level Requirements:

    • A minimum of five (5) O’Level credits in relevant subjects is required, with credits obtained in no more than two sittings.

    • For programmes in the College of Health Sciences and Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, candidates must achieve five (5) credit passes in one sitting.

    • English Language is compulsory for admission into all courses at FUL. For detailed requirements, visit:
      https://fulokoja.edu.ng/admissions.php?i=general-admission-requirements.

  3. Candidates must have uploaded their O’Level results on JAMB e-Facility to participate in the screening. This upload can only be done at a JAMB Office or JAMB-accredited CBT Centre.

Important Notices:

  1. Screening Results and Admission:
Completing the screening does not guarantee admission. The Central Admissions Committee will consider other factors in the final selection process.

  2. False Information:
Any applicant found providing false information or withholding required documents during the application process will be disqualified, and fees paid will not be refunded.

  3. Adherence to Instructions:
Applicants must strictly follow the instructions outlined in this notice to avoid disqualification.

Deadline for Registration:

The Post-UTME Screening will close at midnight on Friday, August 29, 2025.
