The Provost of the Federal College of Education (Technical), Asaba, Prof. Mrs. J. E. Anene-Okeakwa, on behalf of the Governing Council and the Academic Board, has officially announced that the National Universities Commission (NUC) has approved the College to run 29 full-fledged degree programmes.

The approved programmes—B.Ed, B.Tech.Ed, B.Sc.Ed, and B.LIS—are to be offered under the Federal Government’s Dual Mandate Policy, with effect from the 2025/2026 academic session.
