The University of Benin (UNIBEN), through the Dean of Students, Professor Frederick Osaro Ekhaise, has released an important notice to students who have already been allocated hostel bed spaces for the 2025/2026 academic session.
This update is strictly for students with existing hostel allocations—not the general student body.
According to the notice, affected students are expected to formally accept their bed space and complete payment without delay. The university has made it clear that any allocation left unpaid will be withdrawn and reassigned to other students.
To avoid confusion, UNIBEN also set a firm deadline. All unpaid hostel bed space allocations will be revoked by Thursday, 8th January, 2026.
