The Management of Abdulkadir Kure University, Minna (AKUM) has made a crucial announcement, directing all UTME candidates who achieved a score of 160 and above, as well as Direct Entry (DE) applicants, to promptly check their admission status.
In a statement issued by the Office of the Registrar, AKUM advised candidates who have checked their status but are yet to receive their admission letters to take immediate action to facilitate the admission process.
To proceed, affected candidates are required to take one or more of the following steps: log in to the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) to accept a programme transfer or complete a Change of Course, where applicable. They must also upload their O’Level results (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB) on JAMB CAPS, as admissions cannot be finalized without verified results. Additionally, candidates are advised to visit the University Admissions Office to confirm their admission status and resolve any outstanding issues.
The University further encouraged candidates to continue monitoring their admission status through the official AKUM student portal at https://students.akum.edu.ng/. Abdulkadir Kure University, Minna, reaffirmed its commitment to a transparent admission process and urged all concerned applicants to comply promptly with the directives. The announcement was signed by the Registrar, emphasizing the University’s motto, “Knowledge and Innovation for Sustainable Development.”
