The Federal University Dutse has officially opened applications for the 2025/2026 Students’ Benevolent Scholarship Scheme through its Students’ Affairs Division.
In a circular issued by the Office of the Vice Chancellor on February 16, 2026, the Dean of Students Affairs invited applications from indigent students facing financial difficulties. The initiative is designed to support vulnerable students who are unable to pay their registration fees.
Successful applicants will be determined following a thorough screening by the university’s Benevolent Committee. According to the statement signed by the Students Relation Officer, Sani Sabo Idris, interested students are required to obtain, fill, and submit the attached application form along with their stamped previous semester result.
The deadline for submission is Monday, 23rd February, 2026. The circular emphasized that students who have already paid their registration fees, as well as those with a verified or disbursed status from the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), are not eligible to apply.
