The University of Ibadan's Student Affairs Division has announced that the accommodation portal for the 2025/2026 academic session is now open. This portal is accessible to fresh and final-year undergraduate students from February 17 to February 23, 2026, and only those who apply within this period will be eligible for allocation of spaces in the Halls of Residence.

To apply, interested students need to log in to the Student Affairs portal at https://student-portal.ui.edu.ng/login, click on the 'Hall' button on the dashboard, select 'Hall Application', and complete the required form. Applicants must upload a recent passport photograph with a white background and provide necessary details, including next-of-kin information, accommodation history, and any health challenges.

Returning students will need to confirm their Jaja registration status, but fresh students are exempt from this requirement. Once an application is approved, the applicant's status will change, and they will be required to pay their Hall Fee and Basic Hall Dues through the university portal. Payment of Basic Hall Dues is compulsory, while Optional Hall Dues are at the student's discretion.

After confirmation of payment, a room will be assigned, and students are expected to print their Accommodation Slip and Hall Identity Card in colour. Other returning undergraduate students and postgraduate students will be granted access to the accommodation module at a later date.
