Bayero University, Kano has commenced the online screening exercise for the 2025/2026 Academic Session. The exercise began on Monday, 2 March 2026.

All newly admitted undergraduate students are required to follow a specific procedure for a successful screening process. The first step involves clearing with JAMB by accepting the admission and printing the JAMB Admission Letter.

The next steps involve logging in to the screening portal via https://mybuk2.buk.edu.ng/myScreening, downloading necessary documents such as the BUK Admission Letter, Undertaking Form, and University Health Services Registration Form.

Candidates must also generate, download, and print their BUK Personalised Payment Form (BUKPPF), which includes an Acceptance Fee of Ten Thousand Naira (N10,000.00) to be paid through the Remita e-Payments and e-Collection platform.

It is crucial for candidates to carefully follow the payment procedure, as the University will not be liable for any loss arising from incorrect data entry. Payment validation can be checked by clicking 'Check Payment Status' on the payment page. Note that all fees are non-refundable.

The subsequent steps involve uploading required documents in JPG format, including JAMB Result Slip, JAMB Admission Letter, O'Level Result, and A'Level Result for Direct Entry candidates. Candidates should ensure the uploaded documents are clear and meet the required standards.

After completing the upload, candidates should print the Acknowledgement Slip, which contains further instructions for registration and documentation. All newly admitted students are advised to complete the screening process promptly and ensure full compliance with the guidelines. For any inquiries or complaints, candidates can use the message box icon on the right side of the screening portal.
