The National Union of Bauchi State Students has announced that the deadline for the 2026/2027 Bauchi State Scholarship Application has been extended. The new deadline is 30th April 2026, instead of the initial 23rd April 2026.

This extension is a result of the collaborative efforts between the NUBASS National President, Muhammad Sulaiman Abdulwahab, and the Bauchi State Government. The goal is to ensure all eligible students have a fair chance to benefit from the scholarship programme.

The decision to extend the application window was made after considering the appeals and challenges faced by students. Many students encountered delays in accessing the portal or completing the required documentation within the initial timeframe.

NUBASS urges all eligible Bauchi State students who have not submitted their applications to use this additional opportunity. They must complete the process on or before 30th April 2026.

The Union commends the level of participation and enthusiasm shown by students during the application process. It reassures applicants that the relevant authorities will start screening, verification, and assessment of submitted entries after the portal closes. This will be done according to the established guidelines and eligibility criteria.
