The University of Ilesa, Osun State, has commenced its Post-UTME and Direct Entry Admissions Screening Exercise for the 2026/2027 academic session. The exercise is for various academic programmes, including those in the faculties of Nursing Sciences, Basic Medical Sciences, Science Laboratory Technology, Medical Laboratory Science, Public Health, Computing, Arts, Sciences, Social and Management Sciences, Education, Agriculture, and Law.

To be eligible, UTME candidates must have scored 160 and above in the 2026 UTME, while Direct Entry candidates must possess relevant qualifications for admission into 200 level. Candidates must also have chosen the University of Ilesa as their choice institution or effect a change of institution on the JAMB CAPS portal before applying. The University will admit only candidates with credit passes in at least five relevant subjects at not more than two sittings in WASSCE/NECO/NABTEB/SAISSCE. Candidates are advised to familiarise themselves with the O' level requirements and the UTME subject combinations for their programmes of choice.
The application procedure involves applying to the University via its portal: https://admissions.unilesa.edu.ng. A non-refundable Post-UTME/Direct Entry screening fee of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00) must be paid into the University's dedicated account as indicated on the portal. Direct Entry candidates must also apply through the JAMB admission platform in addition to the University portal.
Important information includes the fact that only candidates who will be at least sixteen years old by 30th September, 2026, are eligible for the Post-UTME screening. Candidates must provide accurate and genuine information, as any falsification will lead to disqualification. The University does not have any admissions consultants or agents acting on its behalf.
