Kwara State University, Malete, is inviting qualified UTME and DE candidates to participate in the 2026/2027 Pre-Admission Screening Registration. This registration period will commence on July 18th and conclude on August 17th, 2026.
Candidates who have chosen KWASU as their First Choice, as well as those willing to change to KWASU as their First Choice, are eligible to apply. However, candidates who wish to change their First Choice must do so on the JAMB Portal before applying.
The admission formula for KWASU is as follows: UTME/DE Score accounts for 70%, while O'Level results (5 relevant subjects) account for 30%. It is essential to note that any incorrect entries will result in automatic disqualification. Additionally, candidates must have a maximum of two sittings for five O'level credits, although MBBS candidates are only allowed one sitting.
Candidates who are awaiting their results are also eligible to apply, but they must upload their results before the admission process closes. To help candidates stay updated on Post-UTME and admission activities for the 2026/2027 academic session, a WhatsApp group has been created for aspirants and prospective students of Kwara State University.
The registration fee for the Pre-Admission Screening is ₦2,000, which is non-refundable. To apply, candidates should visit the KWASU portal, select 'Undergraduate,' and enter their JAMB Registration Number. They will then be prompted to fill in their valid phone number and email, after which they can proceed to make the payment using their ATM card details.
After completing the payment, candidates will receive an OTP to finalize the payment process. They can then return to the main login page, sign in with their JAMB Registration Number and Surname, and complete the registration. Once the registration is complete, candidates can print their form and receipt.
In case of payment issues, candidates can enter their JAMB Registration Number and phone number, press the TAB key, and click on 'Re-query.' For any further assistance or support, candidates can contact the helpdesk at helpdesk@kwasu.edu.ng.
It is crucial to note that admission to KWASU depends on the university and programme cut-offs, as well as the availability of admission quotas as specified by the NUC. Additionally, any falsification of documents will result in disqualification and prosecution.
For any enquiries or further information, candidates can visit the KWASU website at www.kwasu.edu.ng or contact the admissions office at admissions@kwasu.edu.ng. They can also reach out to the admission officers, Mr. Aliyu, Mr. Ibrahim, or Mr. Sanusi, on their respective mobile numbers or via WhatsApp/SMS.
