Isa Mustapha Agwai I Polytechnic, located in Lafia, Nasarawa State, has commenced the sale of admission forms for its Higher National Diploma (HND) and Pre-National Diploma (Pre-ND) programmes for the 2026/2027 Academic Session. The Polytechnic invites applications from suitably qualified candidates seeking admission into its various HND and Pre-ND programmes.

Available HND Programmes include options in the School of Engineering Technology (SET), such as HND Electrical Electronic Engineering Technology (Electronic & Telecommunication), HND Mechanical Engineering Technology (Manufacturing), and HND Mechanical Engineering Technology (Plant). The School of Sciences and Technology (SST) offers programmes like HND Software and Web Design, HND Science Laboratory Technology (Chemistry), HND Science Laboratory Technology (Environmental Biology), HND Science Laboratory Technology (Microbiology), and HND Science Laboratory Technology (Biochemistry).

Other available HND programmes are in the School of Environmental Studies (SES), including HND Architectural Technology, HND Urban & Regional Planning, and HND Estate Management and Valuation. The School of Communication Technology (SCT) offers HND Strategic Communication and Mass Media Studies and HND Library and Information Science. Additionally, the School of Administration and Business Studies (SABS) provides HND Accountancy, HND Business Administration and Management, HND Public Administration, and HND Social Development (Social Welfare).

To be eligible for HND admission, applicants must possess a minimum of Lower Credit in the relevant National Diploma (ND) programme, evidence of one year mandatory Industrial Training/Industrial Attachment after graduation, and five relevant O'Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings.

To apply for HND admission, interested candidates should visit the Polytechnic portal, complete the online application form, pay the application fee of ₦5,322.00, and submit the completed application online.

The Polytechnic also invites applications for admission into its Pre-National Diploma (Pre-ND) Programme for the 2026/2027 Academic Session. To apply, candidates should visit the Pre-ND admission portal, complete the online application form, pay the application fee of ₦4,322.00, and submit the completed application online.

Important notice: the admission portal will close on Sunday Midnight, 1st September, 2026. Applicants are advised to provide functional email addresses and phone numbers, as all admission-related information will be communicated through them. All applicants for HND programmes must apply to the institution where they obtained their National Diploma (ND) to forward their ND transcripts to the Registrar, Isa Mustapha Agwai I Polytechnic.
