The University of Ibadan's admission portal will be open for post-UTME/Direct Entry Registration from Monday, 22nd June, 2026 to Sunday, 19th July, 2026. To be eligible, candidates must have scored 200 or above in the 2026 UTME.

Candidates can log in to the Admission Portal using their Jamb Registration Number as their username and their surname as their initial password. A portal access fee of N3,000.00 and screening fee of N2,000.00 should be paid through the ADMISSION PORTAL in favour of the University of Ibadan. Payment options include Card, Bank Transfer, and Bank Branch.

The post-UTME examination will take place from Monday, 27th July, 2026 to Wednesday, 29th July, 2026. Candidates are advised to get the official UI Post-UTME Past Questions and Answers to prepare adequately for the screening. The examination date for each candidate will be communicated in due course.

Candidates must provide valid and active email addresses and phone numbers. The University will not take responsibility for failure to get information as a result of invalid email addresses and non-functional phone numbers. Candidates who will not have attained the age of sixteen years by 30 September, 2025, shall not be cleared for admission.

Candidates seeking admission to the programmes at the College of Medicine and Faculty of Pharmacy must possess five credits at one sitting in relevant O/level subjects. For other programmes, candidates presenting two O/level results must have at least six credits in relevant subjects. The University of Ibadan does not accept IJMB and JUPEP but only WAEC, NECO, as well as Cambridge Advance Level, NCE, ND, HND, and Degree certificates from recognised institutions for Direct Entry admission.

Direct Entry candidates are to upload their credentials to ugadmissions@stu.ui.edu.ng. Candidates are strongly advised to adhere strictly to the guidelines stipulated above for successful completion of the online submissions.
