Peter University has successfully obtained approval from the National Universities Commission to launch six new undergraduate degree programmes.

The introduction of these programmes will commence in the upcoming 2026/2027 academic session, broadening the university's academic portfolio and offering students a wider range of career options.

Approved New Programmes

The six new degree programmes cover various fields including computing, medical sciences, and social sciences:

• Data Science
• Medical Laboratory Science
• Politics, Philosophy & Economics (PPE)
• Social Work
• Public Administration
• Psychology

These programmes have been thoroughly evaluated and have received full backing from the NUC, ensuring their curricula align with national standards for tertiary education in Nigeria.

Following the NUC's approval, the university has begun accepting applications for admission into these new programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.
