Yobe State University has announced the commencement of its 2026 Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening exercise for candidates who chose the institution as their first choice.

The exercise is scheduled to take place from Wednesday, 8th July to Saturday, 1st August, 2026.

To participate in the screening exercise, prospective candidates are required to:

• Generate REMITA at any cyber cafe and obtain RRR Number.
• Pay the sum of Two Thousand Naira (₦2,000.00) only through REMITA and print the slip for online registration.
• Register online through Yobe State University Portal at https://ysu.edu.ng/putme
• Upload the required documents to the portal.

The documents required for the 2026/2027 Post UTME/DE screening include:

• The 2026 original UTME result/DE slip
• SSCE result (not more than two sittings)
• Letter of indigene certificate
• HND/NCE/ND/IJMB result for direct entry candidates
• Primary School Leaving Certificate
• Birth certificate/declaration of age
