Free Jamb for 300 Students

The MOK Foundation has actively registered 300 underprivileged students for the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination in Kwara State. This initiative, implemented in two phases, began at the foundation’s headquarters in Offa, Offa local government area of the state.

Representing the founder, Mr. Lawal Saheed, the executive director of the foundation underscored the pivotal role of education in their mission. The free JAMB registration program aims to empower talented students from disadvantaged backgrounds by removing financial barriers to their educational aspirations. He reiterated the foundation’s commitment to providing equal opportunities for all children to achieve their full potential, regardless of their circumstances. The selection process for the 300 recipients was meticulous, considering academic achievement, financial need, and dedication to community service.Expressing gratitude, beneficiary Ayomide Oparinde conveyed appreciation for the scholarship provided by the MOK Foundation.Mr. Muhydeen Bammeke, head of the department of humanities at the Federal Polytechnic Offa, praised the founder’s philanthropic endeavors, emphasizing the role of entrepreneurship in giving back to society.

Mr. Laolu Oyawoye, secretary of ANCOPSS and principal of Moremi High School, commended the MOK Foundation for its impactful efforts in empowerment, personal development, economic progress, and community enrichment, affirming the founder’s enduring legacy.

HOW TO DO WELL IN A COMPUTER BASED TEST

Prepare hard.
Get to the exam hall early.
Don't panic.
Sit down where you were directed to sit down.
Take a quick scan or survey of the environment.
Take a pick at your computer.
Read and understand the instructions (if there is any).
Locate the login form field.
Listen attentively to invigilators instructions.
After logining in, take a quick scan of the new environment without fidgeting.
Don't mess around with the interface as you can click on a button that will submit your work at that stage which means a zero(0) **lol**.
Locate the essentials like:- the timer, the next, previous and the finish/submit button.
Answer the questions you know very well and you are sure of first as most CBT software allow you to go back (See above).
Make sure you attempt ALL questions.
Track the timer so that you don't work behind schedule (Computers are not humans, they don't give extra time).
Comply with every rule stated for the exam.
If you finish before the timer end, you can click on the submit or finish button but hey!! be careful, Read what happened to me.
Believe in whatever or whoever you want to believe in and finally,
WAIT FOR THE RESULT.

TIPS TO PASSING THIS YEARS JAMB

It is usually said that admission start from application. The experience I have had in admission processing over the years has proven this statement to be true. Statements like "if I had known when I was applying !!!" or "I never knew this before my application" is very common. At that point though, they have already lost the admission. So, the point I am making is that, if you want to win the battle of admission, you have to start from application now.

The ideal time to start the battle of admission is during JAMB application. Many would-be-students do not arm themselves with enough information that will guarantee their admission success. Many apply without formal orientation. Using the trial-and-error method, they fumble their way through Universities and courses selection. The result in most cases is failure.

It is especially important that prospective candidates for JAMB UTME give special attention to application as JAMB will be providing two or more modes of taking their examination.

Your knowledge about this and many more questions may be the only thing needed to pass JAMB UTME. Before you go online and register on http://www.jamb.org.ng you need to fortify yourself with the knowledge of what you would meet there.

This modern approach JAMB is acquiring will, in a way, if properly implemented reduce the amount of errors in scores and make it faster for candidates to see their result and according to JAMB's Registrar, Professor Dibu Ojerinde, "those who take their examination using CBT will be able to check their result 30 minutes after the exam".
