The management of Federal Polytechnic Ilaro has released the 2015/2016 Academic Calendar.
According to the calendar, academic activities students are expected to arrive on 29th November, 2015 while academic activities will resume 30th November, 2015.

The Academic Board at its 303rd Regular Meeting held on Monday 12th October 2015 approved the Academic Calendar for the 1st and 2nd Semesters of 2015/2016 Session as presented below:
 
1st Semester 2015/2016
1.0 1 st Semester Begins - Sunday 29th November, 2015
2.0 Registration for 1st and 2nd Semesters - Monday 19th October, 2015 to 2015/2016 for fresh students Friday 18th December, 2015
3.0 Registration for 1st and 2nd Semesters - November 16, 2015 to 2015/2016 for Returning Students Friday December 4, 2015
4.0 Lectures begin for all students - Monday 30th November, 2015
5.0 Christmas/New Year Break - Saturday 19th December, 2015 to Sunday 3rd January, 2016
6.0 Lectures resume for all students - Monday 4 th January, 2016
7.0 Orientation for new students - Wednesday 27th January, 2016
8.0 Matriculation - Thursday 28th January, 2016
9.0 Publication of 1st Semester 2015/2016 - Tuesday 2 nd February, 2016 Examination Time-Table
10.0 Lectures end for all students - Saturday 12th February, 2016
