JAMB 2016 Candidates Protest Lack Of Exam Centres In Ibadan

Report has it that some UTME candidates on Tuesday in Ibadan protested the unavailability of centres to write the examination.
It was gathered that the candidates numbering about 100 marched to media houses in Ibadan calling on the government to intervene so they wouldn't be denied the right to participate in the examination.
One of the candidates who spoke said that there was no centre for them to write the exams in the region.
“Can you imagine a candidate travelling as far as Enugu to write examination just because there is no centre here? Some candidates will go to Abuja, Nasarawa, Edo from the South West?"
“... all of us who registered sometime in January have no centres. We have gone to them in JAMB to complain but they did not address our problems. The deadline was last Friday but it was extended to this Friday.” He lamented.
