Report reaching us has it that the management of National Youth Service Corps has sent text messages to Batch A Stream II prospective Corps Members notifying them of postponement of the orientation exercise;

The message reads "Please we regret to inform you that the 2016 Batch A Stream 2 in all states including those posted to Adamawa, Borno and Yobe in Stream 1 for orientation course has been postponed due to logistic reasons. A new date will be communicated to you in due course. Please accept our sincere apologies. NYSC Management"

A notice to this effect has been updated on NYSC's official Facebook page.

It reads "The Management of the National Youth Service Corps regrets to announce the postponement of the 2016 Batch 'A' (Stream II) Orientation course scheduled to commence on Saturday, 21st May, 2016 due to logistics reasons.

We enjoin all Prospective Corps members to watch out for a new date to be announced later.

All inconveniences are highly regretted, please."
