Delta State Polytechnic, Ozoro, DSPZ Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes admission form for the 2016/2017 academic session is  now on sale.

Authority of the Delta State Polytechnic, Ozoro (DSPZ) invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into its Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes for the 2016/2017 academic session.

DELTA STATE POLYTECHNIC OZORO HND ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS.

Candidates for any of the HND courses listed above must possess the National Diploma (ND) of the polytechnic with a minimum of lower credit or equivalent qualifications from other similar institutions whose courses have earned NBTE Accreditation. However, for HND Business Administration and Management, only ND in Business Administration or Marketing is acceptable.

DELTA STATE POLYTECHNIC OZORO HND AVAILABLE PROGRAMMES.

HND courses of two (2) years duration are available in the following programmes;

1. School of Agriculture
(i) Agricultural Extension and Management
(ii) Fisheries Technology

2. School of  Business Studies
(i) Accountancy
(ii) Banking & Finance
(iii) Business Administration
(iv) Office Technology & Management

3. School of Engineering
(i) Agric. & Bio-Environmental Engineering Tech.
(ii) Civil Engineering Technology (Water, Structure and Transport options)

4. School of Science & Technology
(i) Computer Science

CONDITIONS FOR ADMISSION

Candidates for any of the Higher National Diploma (HND) courses listed above must possess the National Diploma (ND) of the Polytechnic with a minimum of lower credit or equivalent qualifications from other similar institutions whose courses have earned NBTE Accreditation.
However, for HND Business Administration & Management, only ND in Business Administration or Marketing is acceptable. Similarly, for HND Computer Science, ND Computer Science, Nigerian Certificate in Education (NCE) with a major in Computer Education, not below merit level grade and CPEI of Computer Professionals of Nigeria (CPN) with at least lower credit grade are acceptable. In addition, candidates must have satisfied the Delta State Polytechnic, Ozoro Matriculations requirements for the National Diploma Programme and must have at least one year Post-National Diploma (ND) Industrial Experience. Evidence of the relevant one-year Post-ND Industrial Experience and academic transcript(s) from the candidate’s institution must be submitted along with the application for the Higher National Diploma admission.

DELTA STATE POLYTECHNIC OZORO HND ADMISSION – METHOD OF APPLICATION.

(i)    Applicants should pay application fee of the sum of N10,000 (ten thousand naira) only in favour of Delta State Polytechnic, Ozoro in any branch of First Bank of Nigeria Plc and Unity Bank, Ozoro branch onlyand purchase voucher card from same bank.
(ii)   Log on to www.dspzportaledu.net and click on admission, then click HND Programme.
(iii)   Put in your Voucher Card Pin Code in the fields provided and apply. Your form must be completed ONLINE.
(iv)  Please retain your voucher card for further use to ascertain your admission status online.
(v)   If your application for HND Programme is successful, you will be required to submit the following documents to the Admissions Office:

• Five (5) recent passports photographs.
• Examination results listed in the Application Form.
• Certificate of Local Government of Origin.
• Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age.
• Teller for the purchase of voucher card of HND Programme Application Form.
• Two copies of your online Application Form.

The closing date for all applications is 7th October, 2016.
