UNN JUPEB 2015/2016: Admission Into 200L, Date, Eligibility, Registration And Deadlines Details

Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) programme for 2015/2016 session.

The programme leads to the award of JUPEB certificate which enables candidates gain Direct Entry Admissions into University of Nigeria, Nsukka and other JUPEB-affiliated Universities in Nigeria and Abroad.

ELIGIBILITY

Eligible candidates must possess a minimum of 5 Credits at maximum of two sittings in at least 5 subjects (inclusive of English Language) relevant to the candidate’s desired course of study in the University.

DURATION

The duration of the programme is a minimum of one academic session of two semesters.

Economics/History/Literature in English (EHL)
History/Igbo/CRS (HICRS)
Igbo/Literature/CRS (ILCRS)
History/Igbo/French (HIF)

Social Sciences:

Government/Economics/Mathematics (GEM)
Government/ Economics /Government (GEG)
Literature/Economics /Government (LEG)
Biology/Economics/ Government (BEG)
Government/Literature in English/Christian Religious Studies (GLCRS)
Biology/Government/CRS (BGCRS)

Management Sciences:

Business Studies /Accounting/Mathematics (BAM)
Mathematics/Accounting/Geography (MAG)
Mathematics /Economics / Business Studies (MEB)

Sciences:

Agricultural Science/Biology/Chemistry (ABC)
Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics (PCM)
Physics/Chemistry/Biology (PCB)

Candidates are to note that the above listed subject combinations meet the requirements (as applicable) for admission into Degree Programmes in the Sciences, Social Sciences, Management Sciences and Arts courses in all JUPEB-affiliated Universities in Nigeria including University of Nigeria, Nsukka

METHOD OF APPLICATION

  1. Pay the application fee of N15,000.00 through e-Tranzact payment platform at any branch of Zenith, First Bank, Fidelity, UBA, Diamond. A receipt which contains a receipt number and confirmation Order Number will be given to you at the bank. (Please note that Bank charges apply and must be paid)
  2. Visit unnportal.unn.edu.ng
  3. Click on the fill JUPEB, Inter University Forms
  4. Click on Generate Payment Invoice under JUPEB
  5. Enter your telephone number and click on submit
  6. Enter your Surname, First name, Middle name and Reg No and click on submit
  7. Print out your invoice and proceed to the bank
  8. After making payments at the bank visit the portal unnportal.unn.edu.ng
  9. Click on the Fill JUPEB, Inter University Forms
  10. Click on fill Joint Universities Preliminary Admissions Board programme
  11. Enter your Confirmation # and click on submit
  12. Fill the form and attach your passport
  13. Color passport photograph with white background.
  14. The passport photograph must be recent (not earlier than 3 months before the time of the application) and the size should not be more than 100KB.
  15. Complete the form and click on submit
  16. Print out your acknowledgment slip.

GENERAL INFORMATION

  1. Applicants into 2015/2016 preliminary programme are advised to check our website from time to time for the actual date of the oral interview Examination and other relevant information.
  2. All candidates are required to register for 2016 UTME during the programme.
  3. All Candidates are required to use valid e-mail addresses and PERSONAL Telephone Numbers.
  4. The forms must be filled and submitted online either immediately or within two weeks of accessing the website. No downloaded or printed copies of forms will be accepted.
  5. Applicants are to note that 2015/2016 preliminary interview shall hold at the University of Nigeria Nsukka, Campus.
  6. Candidates are advised to follow the Application Instructions very carefully and ensure they select the Correct SUBJECT COMBINATIONS. Failure to do so may adversely affect the Candidate.

CLOSING DATE

Submission of online forms will close on Monday, 28th September, 2015 at 11.59 pm.
