Course Highlights:

  • Eligibility: Open to anyone with a passion for culture and creativity.

Admission Requirements for Certificate Programmes

To qualify for admission, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Three credits in no more than two sittings, including English Language, in Senior Secondary School Certificate, West African School Certificate, General Certificate of Education, or National Examination Council (NECO) Certificate.
  • Merits in three subjects, including English Language, in no more than two sittings in Grade II Teacher's Certificate.
  • Mature candidates (30 years old and above) with three credits, including English Language.
  • Five credit passes in WASC, NECO, GCE, or TCII with at least a pass in English.

All applicants must undergo a qualifying examination or interview conducted by the University through the Centre for Cultural Studies and Creative Arts.

Programme Duration

Our certificate programmes are flexible, available on a full-time, part-time, or executive/professional basis:

  • Full-time: Runs for a minimum of 6 months and a maximum of 12 months.
  • Part-time: Runs for a minimum of 12 months and a maximum of 18 months.
  • Executive/Professional: Full-time, runs for a minimum of 3 months and a maximum of 6 months, specifically for military, para-military, and top civil servants.

  • Diploma in Cultural Studies
