We are delighted to announce that all 26 academic programs recently submitted by the University for accreditation have been approved by the National Universities Commission (NUC). Among these, 22 programs received full accreditation, while 4 were granted interim accreditation. Notably, Banking and Finance, English, and Computer Science, which previously held interim accreditation, have now achieved full accreditation!

It is important to note that all accredited programs have a validity period of five years. Consequently, any programs not listed here still retain their full accreditation status until the next NUC evaluation.

In an email to the University community, Vice-Chancellor Professor Abdul-Rasheed Na'Allah shared the good news and expressed, "I want to seize this happy, joyful, and celebratory moment for our entire campus to once again appeal to the UniAbuja Branch of ASUU and all academic staff who have abandoned their classes to please return to class now. This success was achieved together, with everyone working hard and embodying the best of the UofA spirit."
