The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that the release of the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results will begin as soon as all post-examination analyses and standard verification procedures are completed.
This announcement was made on Tuesday morning via the Board’s official X (formerly Twitter) handle, where JAMB assured candidates that the results would be released shortly. The Board urged candidates to remain calm and patient while the final stages of the process are underway.
“2025 UTME results to be released as soon as all post-examination analyses and other procedures are completed. Candidates are enjoined to be patient, please” the post read.
While no specific release date was given, JAMB reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to transparency and integrity. The Board emphasized that all results will be thoroughly vetted to ensure accuracy and fairness, leaving no room for compromise.
Post-examination analysis typically involves biometric verification, identity confirmation, detection of examination malpractice, technical audits, and comprehensive integrity checks across all examination centres.
For thousands of candidates who sat for the 2025 UTME—a key requirement for gaining admission into Nigeria’s tertiary institutions—the anticipation is high. However, JAMB reiterated its stance on due diligence, stating that the credibility of the process must not be sacrificed for speed.
As the wait continues, the Board advised candidates to rely solely on official communication channels, including its website and verified social media pages, and to disregard unverified reports and misinformation from unofficial sources.
