The University of Abuja's Institute of Education has officially opened its doors for admissions into the 2026 Contact Session for its Sandwich Degree Programmes. This presents a unique opportunity for prospective candidates to apply for a range of specialised education-focused degrees that cater to diverse interests and career aspirations.

Available Programmes: The Institute is offering admission into 18 diverse programmes, which include BSc(Ed) Agricultural Science, BA(Ed) Arabic, BSc(Ed) Biology, BSc(Ed) Chemistry, BA(Ed) Christian Studies, BSc(Ed) Economics, BEd Educational Administration and Planning, BA(Ed) English Language, BSc(Ed) Environmental Science, BSc(Ed) Geography, BA(Ed) Guidance and Counselling, BA(Ed) History, BSc(Ed) Integrated Science, BA(Ed) Islamic Studies, BSc(Ed) Mathematics, BSc(Ed) Physics, BEd Primary Education, and BEd Social Studies.

To be eligible for these programmes, candidates must meet specific admission requirements. For 100 Level Entry, applicants are required to have five O’Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics. For 200 Level Direct Entry, candidates need an NCE qualification with a minimum of 10 points, in addition to meeting the O’Level credit requirements.

The application process is straightforward and entirely online. All interested candidates must complete their applications via the university’s application portal at https://portal.uniabuja.edu.ng. A non-refundable application fee of Twelve Thousand Five Hundred Naira (₦12,500) is required, payable online through the portal.
