Mid-term Break For Anambra Schools 2026

The Anambra State Government has declared a mid-term break for all public and private schools in the state, as outlined in the approved 2025/2026 academic calendar.

In a statement released on February 14, 2026, by the Office of the Honourable Commissioner for Education, the Ministry of Education announced that the break will commence on Monday, February 16, and conclude on Friday, February 20, 2026.

Academic activities are set to resume on Monday, February 23, 2026. The Ministry advised parents and guardians to ensure their children and wards stay on top of their academic work during the break and to provide adequate supervision.
