Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, invites applications from qualified candidates for admission into the Interim Joint Matriculation Board Examination (IJMBE) Programme for the 2026/2027 session.
The IJMBE, a national examination body approved by the Federal Government of Nigeria and certified by the Nigerian University Commission (NUC), serves as an Advanced Level (A/L) examination for seeking admission into higher institutions.
By passing the IJMBE, candidates qualify for 200-level admission to Ambrose Alli University or any other Nigerian University via Direct Entry (DE). The IJMBE certificate is also accepted by some foreign universities for admission. Admitted candidates are expected to select three subject combinations related to their course of study at the university.
To be eligible, applicants must possess at least 5 credit passes in not more than 2 sittings in SSCE, WASCE, GCE O-LEVEL, NECO/NABTEB, including English language and Mathematics. At least 3 of the credits must be in relevant subjects.
The programme duration is twelve calendar months, divided into 2 sessions. The application form costs N25,000.
