The Bridge Charity Foundation, in partnership with WealthBridge Financial Services Holdings Limited, has reopened its educational scholarship application portal. This move follows feedback from participating universities, which indicated that many students were previously unaware of the opportunity. As a result, the foundation has extended the application window to ensure greater participation across various institutions, including Olabisi Onabanjo University.
Key application dates to note are that the scholarship portal is officially reopened from Wednesday, 11th March until Wednesday, 18th March 2026. Interested students are encouraged to act quickly before the portal closes for the final time this cycle.
The Bridge Educational Scholarship is a comprehensive award designed to support students throughout their entire academic journey. It covers full tuition, paying fees from 100 Level through to the final year, with payments made directly to the University through FMCB Trustees. Additionally, there's an investment benefit for beneficiaries who have already settled their current tuition, where the equivalent amount will be invested in a secure money market fund. This accumulated sum will be disbursed to the student upon graduation as an investment benefit.
The scholarship is open to bonafide students of participating universities. The Student Affairs Division of each institution will be responsible for validating academic information, including the student's program of study and current degree classification. Qualified students can submit their applications through the official foundation portal. Successful applicants will be formally presented with their awards during an official ceremony hosted within the University at a date to be announced.
