The Students’ Union Government of the University of Uyo, through the Office of the Director of Academics, has issued an urgent memorandum informing students of an alternative procedure for course registration. This follows delays in uploading some courses on the university portal.
According to the directive signed by the Director of Academics, Miracle Victor Etim, the delays were caused by certain departments and units that have not yet uploaded some courses on the school portal. To ensure that students are not disadvantaged, an alternative registration process has been approved and must be strictly followed.
Students affected by the delayed course uploads are advised to follow the steps below: 1. Print the current e-registration course form from the university portal. 2. Manually tick or mark the courses for the current semester on the printed form. 3. Proceed immediately to the School Portal Unit at the Town Campus with the annotated printout for manual registration.
Students are strongly reminded that failure to register courses for any semester will automatically result in a carryover for the affected course(s). The directive takes immediate effect and will remain valid until further notice from the university management or the Directorate of Academics.
Class representatives have also been instructed to widely disseminate this information within their classes and departments to ensure that all students are properly informed.
