The Nigerian Law School has announced that the application process for the 2026 Bar Part I Course will commence on Monday, 25 May, 2026, and close on Tuesday, 30 June, 2026. The Programme is scheduled to start on Monday, 27 July, 2026, at the Headquarters in Bwari, Abuja.
The admission requirements for the Programme specify that it is open to Nigerian graduates of Law from Common Law Countries whose Law courses are approved by the Council of Legal Education. However, degrees obtained through part-time study, Open University, Long Distance Learning, or online modes of study are not recognized for admission to the Programme.
To apply, prospective applicants are required to visit the Nigerian Law School website at www.nigerianlawschool.edu.ng, complete the application form, and forward it to barpartone2026@nigerianlawschool.edu.ng on or before Tuesday, 30 June, 2026. Additionally, applicants must forward their academic transcript and completed Forms B, B1, and B2 from their university's official email address and employer (if applicable) to reference@nigerianlawschool.edu.ng by Friday, 17 July, 2026.
Applicants are advised to note their Application Numbers for access to their admission status subsequently. The subject of all emails should be the applicant's name and application number. It is essential to submit all application documents within the stipulated time frame, as late submissions will not be entertained.
