The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Ogun State has announced the commencement of registration for the post-UTME screening exercise for the 2026/2027 academic session. Registration is set to begin on Tuesday, 2nd June, 2026.

Candidates eligible for the screening exercise include those who made Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta their institution of first choice in the 2026/2027 UTME and scored 160 and above. Direct Entry candidates with a minimum of Upper-Credit or its equivalent, who chose FUNAAB as their institution of first choice, are also eligible. Additionally, candidates who sat for the 2026/2027 UTME, scored 160 and above, and are willing to change and make Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta their institution of first choice can participate.

It is essential to note that candidates who did not initially make Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta their institution of first choice but are willing to choose FUNAAB should make the necessary change of institution to FUNAAB before the close of registration for the screening exercise. All eligible candidates, who should not be less than 16 years by September 30, 2026, are to visit the University website to register for the screening after making a payment of Five Thousand Naira (N2,000 for POST-UTME REGISTRATION and N3,000 for PORTAL ACCESS FEE) only.

To register online, candidates should visit the University website, login with their UTME Registration number, and generate an Application Invoice for payment of a non-refundable fee. After successful payment, candidates are to return to the University's Admission Portal, log in, and complete the e-application form. Candidates are expected to carefully review their application and confirm the entries before clicking on the Submit button. They should also print out the registration slip.

General instructions to all candidates include correctly uploading all their O'Level results on the portal, with a maximum of two sittings allowed. FUNAAB accepts WAEC, NECO, and NABTEB O'Level results. DE Candidates are required to have submitted their transcript to the Registrar, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, not later than Friday, 31st July, 2026. Candidates with wrong UTME subject combination are required to change to appropriate courses before registration. It is compulsory for all candidates to participate in the online screening exercise to qualify them for consideration for admission by the University.
