The Federal College of Education (Technical), Asaba, Delta State, has commenced admissions for the 2026/2027 academic session. Applications are now open for the Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) and Professional Diploma in Education (PDE) programmes. The institution invites applications from qualified candidates for full-time, regular part-time, and weekend part-time streams.

Available courses include a wide variety of options across different schools for the NCE Programme, such as the School of Secondary Education (Vocational), School of Secondary Education (Science), School of Early Childhood Care, Primary, Adult & Non-Formal Education, School of Secondary Education (Business), and School of Secondary Education (Technical).

To be eligible for admission, prospective students must meet specific criteria. For the Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE), candidates must possess at least 4 credit passes at O' Level (SSCE/WAEC/NECO/GCE/NABTEB) or a TCII Result in relevant areas. This applies to regular full-time, regular part-time, and weekend part-time applicants.

For the Professional Diploma in Education (PDE), qualified and interested candidates must possess a University Degree (B.Sc/BA), a Higher National Diploma (HND), or a recognized Professional Qualification in relevant areas. This programme is available for both Full-Time and Part-Time tracks. Applicants must also provide an NYSC Discharge Certificate or an Exemption Certificate, alongside all original copies of their credentials.

To apply, prospective applicants are required to make payments for admission based on their selected programme. The payment amounts are as follows: NCE (Full-Time) N2,000, NCE (Regular Part-Time) N4,000, NCE (Weekend) N4,000, and PDE N4,000. All payments must be made at the bank through the school's Bursary Unit. After successful payment, applicants are required to submit their blueprint receipt to the Institution's Admission Unit to collect their official Admission Form.

The college has introduced student welfare incentives for the session, which include free accommodation for students and scholarship opportunities for academic excellence. Candidates seeking further information and guidance can visit the Institution Admission Office directly or contact the school authorities through the provided official lines: 08032139867, 07068023492, or 08061149041.
