How to Calculate Your Admission Screening / POST-UTME Aggregate Score Here - All Nigerian Universities

JAMB UTME 2017 have successfully ended and results are already out except for some "DAMN FEW" :D that have their result withheld and JAMB Candidates With Technical Issues Will Retake The Exam Under My Very Eyes - JAMB Boss.

As schools would soon start announcing their Admission Screening exercise date, it is very important for candidates to stay up to date with the latest information on the modalities of their choice schools.

Knowing fully well that there would be no POST-UTME examination this time (except those in power comes up with another twist this time again). We bring to you the detailed procedure of calculating your aggregate score for your admission screening exercise.

Knowing how to calculate your institutions Admission Screening aggregate will help you to know how likely you are to get admission into your choice institution or how quickly you are to take a change of course form or a change of institution form.

For the most part, your JAMB UTME score will take 60% of your total admission screening aggregate score while your o'level result will take 40% of your admission screening aggregate score.

The simple maths is divide your JAMB UTME score over 4 to get you score over 60, then follow the o'level grade scores  to compute your o'level score over 40. Add the two up and that's your admission screening aggregate score.

An institution totals your UTME score to 400/8 and your o'level computed score is 20. So if you scored 320 in JAMB for instance and 20 in your o'level computed score (due to whatever), the candidates aggregate is 60 which is not sufficient to enter highly competitive courses in TOP institutions.

So, INFORMATION IS POWER, know how to calculate your schools aggregate score now so you can plan ahead if you'd take a change of course form or not.
