Resumption and Registration
    •    5 January 2026: Students resume.
    •    8 December 2025 – 23 January 2026 (3 weeks): Screening and course registration for both fresh and returning students.

Note: Students are advised not to delay registration, as portal delays are common near deadlines.

Lectures, Continuous Assessment, and Break
    •    26 January – 13 March 2026 (7 weeks): Lectures and Continuous Assessment (CA)
    •    16 – 22 March 2026 (1 week): Mid-semester break & online add/drop
    •    23 March – 8 May 2026 (6 weeks): Continuation of lectures and CA

Exams and Results
    •    11 – 30 May 2026 (3 weeks): Examinations and marking
    •    1 – 14 June 2026 (2 weeks): Processing of results
    •    15 – 19 June 2026 (1 week): Senate considers and releases results

Semester Break
    •    22 – 28 June 2026 (1 week): First semester break
    •    29 June 2026: Second semester begins

Exams, Results, and Transfers
    •    19 October – 7 November 2026 (3 weeks): Examinations and marking
    •    9 – 20 November 2026 (2 weeks): Processing of results
    •    23 – 25 November 2026 (3 days): Senate considers and releases results
    •    26 November – 20 December 2026 (3 weeks): Intra- and inter-university transfers

End-of-Session Break
