The University of Delta, Agbor, has set Saturday, 21st February 2026, as the date for its inaugural convocation ceremony. According to a circular from the Registrar, Richmond Omagbemi (Esq), the grand finale will begin with an academic procession at 9:00 a.m. All University Council, Senate, and Congregation members must participate, wearing approved academic gowns.
The notice instructs faculty officers to collect academic gowns for their faculty's graduating students from the Central Stores by 12 noon on Wednesday, 19th February 2026. Officers are also responsible for ensuring students behave properly throughout the ceremony.
The university warns that any misconduct that could tarnish its reputation will face severe penalties, as per the university's rules and regulations. The management wishes the university community a successful and happy convocation ceremony.
