FUTES Announces Adjustments In Academic Calendar For Upcoming Holidays

The Federal University of Technology and Environmental Sciences has made important adjustments to its academic calendar in preparation for the upcoming Ramadan Eid and Easter public holidays.
According to the Registrar, Oluwole Olalere Dada, the revised schedule is as follows: Revised Academic Schedule End of Lectures: Thursday, April 2, 2026 Revision Period: Commences Wednesday, April 8, 2026 First Semester Examinations: Starts Monday, April 13, 2026
The university has noted the following dates for anticipated public holiday declarations: Ramadan Eid: Friday, March 20, 2026, and Monday, March 23, 2026 Easter Break: Friday, April 3, 2026, and Monday, April 6, 2026
Both lecturers and students are advised to take note of these dates and adjust their schedules accordingly to ensure they are adequately prepared for the upcoming examinations.
