The Lagos State University (LASU) Postgraduate School is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into its various postgraduate programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session.

General requirements for admission include five credits at the Ordinary Level, including English Language, and credit in Mathematics for science, social science, management science, and educational management courses.

The university offers a wide range of postgraduate programmes across various faculties, including Arts, Education, Engineering, Law, Management Sciences, Science, Social Sciences, and more. Some of the specific programmes available include Postgraduate Diploma, Master's, M.Phil/Ph.D, and Ph.D programmes in fields such as Yoruba Literature and Culture, International Relations and Strategic Studies, History and Diplomacy, Christian Religious Studies, Islamic Studies, English Language, Arabic Studies, and many others.

For the Faculty of Education, some of the available programmes include Postgraduate Diploma in Education, M.Ed in Counselling Psychology, M.Ed in Educational Psychology, M.Ed in Early Childhood Education, and M.Ed in Sociology of Education, among others.

In the Faculty of Engineering, programmes such as Postgraduate Diploma in Electronic and Computer Engineering, M.Sc Electronic and Computer Engineering, and Ph.D Electronic and Computer Engineering are available.

To apply, candidates are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of N30,300.00 into the LASU account online. All applicants will also be required to sit for a qualifying entrance examination at the university's main campus in Ojo, Lagos.

The sale of application forms will close four weeks from the date of publication, and applicants are advised to visit the university website at www.lasu.edu.ng for information on admission requirements. Applicants should also note that they must personally attend the selection and written examinations, as make-up tests will not be conducted.

Click Continue 5. An Application Number will be generated. Copy the Application Number generated 6. Proceed to “Step 2” to make the required payment for the Postgraduate Application Fee 7. After successful payment, return to the application page on “Step 3” to continue the Application 8. Supply Application Number and Surname 9. Complete all required information 10. Print out your application form.
