The Students’ Union Government of Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology has announced the commencement of the NELFUND student loan refund process for eligible graduating students.

In a notice issued on March 13, 2026, SUG President, Sen. Hassan Sunusi Kani, informed graduates that all qualified students who are beneficiaries of the Nigerian Education Loan Fund will receive their refunds after completing the required documentation process.

To receive the refund, affected graduates must submit their clearance form confirming their graduation to the Centre for Information and Communication Technology Office, located opposite the Academic Division of the university. The clearance form can be obtained from the graduates’ respective departments.

Once the completed form is submitted to the CICT office, the refund processing will begin, and payments are expected to be made within a short period. The Students’ Union leadership expressed appreciation to the university management for facilitating a fair, transparent, and student-friendly decision aimed at supporting graduating students.

The SUG President urged all affected graduates to submit the required documents promptly to ensure that the refund process proceeds smoothly and that all eligible students receive their payments without delay. He reaffirmed the union’s commitment to protecting and promoting the welfare of students, stating that the interest of students will always remain the top priority of the union leadership.
