The University of Ilorin Students’ Union has announced an adjustment in transport fares across selected routes within and around the University community, effective immediately as of Monday, April 13, 2026.
The decision follows extensive engagements with transport operators to strike a balance between current operational realities and the welfare of the students.
Approved Fare Schedule: New Park to Campus: ₦250 Oke-Odo to New Park: ₦150 Terminus to New Park: ₦200
The Union has reiterated that all transport operators must strictly adhere to the approved 3-3-2 sitting arrangement. The Students' Union has made it clear that no form of overloading or arbitrary fare increments beyond the approved prices will be tolerated.
Innovative Unilorites are encouraged to report any violations through the appropriate channels to ensure prompt intervention by the Union.
